College Vision, Mission and Objectives\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

It is one of the higher education institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Iraq. The College of Islamic Sciences was established in 1989 AD and is an extension of the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion after it was merged to become one college in February 2014. The college has been able to enjoy great encouragement from scientific and cognitive development in raising its scientific levels and completing many of what it lacks in terms of various factors and reasons for progress. It continues to keep pace with scientific and educational development, through developing its curricula and training its teaching and administrative staff. The college seeks to be a distinguished Islamic knowledge beacon in the Sharia sciences based on the principle of coexistence, respect for humanity and service to society.<\/p>

The college\u2019s vision is to be a beacon of local, Arab, and global science, knowledge, and faith, and a disciplined guiding and mentoring agent for society, while taking pride in the nation\u2019s constants and factors of unity, rejecting division and discord, and confronting various doctrinal and intellectual deviations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The vision<\/h4>

The college\u2019s vision is to be a beacon of local, Arab, and global science, knowledge, and faith, and a disciplined guiding and mentoring agent for society, while taking pride in the nation\u2019s constants and factors of unity, rejecting division and discord, and confronting various doctrinal and intellectual deviations.<\/p>

The College of Islamic Sciences, with its diverse scientific departments, works within the frameworks of quality education and institutional and specialized academic accreditation to highlight and realize the Islamic identity in belief, thought and behavior, to keep pace with civilizational and scientific progress, and to emphasize the formation of close relationships with academic and scientific institutions to raise the level of its members, support scientific research, serve the community, develop educational curricula to raise the educational level, and provide the community and the educational process with specialized personnel in the various fields of Islamic sciences.<\/p>

  • Strengthening the financial and banking sectors with specialists in Islamic financial and banking sciences, and highlighting the advantages of the Islamic economic system.<\/li>
  • Contributing to cultural communication and supporting society with specialists in comparative religion, doctrines, and dialogue of civilizations, based on the Almighty\u2019s saying: \u201cIndeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.\u201d (Al Imran, verse 19).<\/li>
  • Preparing researchers in Islamic law and its various fields to deepen Islamic thought, spread and promote Islamic values \u200b\u200bin society, and reduce negative phenomena in it.<\/li>
  • Supporting the scientific research process and actively contributing to serving the community by developing its diverse educational, scientific, and administrative staff.<\/li>
