This department, a humanities-based academic department, was established in the 2009\/2010 academic year. It specializes in the study of the philosophy of Islamic theology, with a particular focus on the interpretation of the Holy Quran. Located on the second floor of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences building in the Sabaa Abkar complex, the department has graduated 11 classes to date.<\/p>

The department offers undergraduate studies in both morning and evening sessions, as well as master's programs in both regular and private tracks. It accepts graduates of preparatory school in its various branches (literary, scientific, and Islamic) through morning, evening, parallel, and private admissions. The academic year is divided into two semesters.<\/p>

The department offers a variety of services to students, including free education, student affairs, a library, and sports and extracurricular activities. It is headed by Professor Dr. Abu Al-Futuh Abdul Qader Shaker, and the department coordinator is Dr. Saif Ismail Aboud.<\/p>

The department grants bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees, with the general specialization being Islamic Sciences, and the specific specialization being Interpretation, which allows its graduates job opportunities in the field of teaching, such as an Islamic education teacher and an Arabic language teacher.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

        The vision of the Interpretation Department is focused on its earnest endeavor to be a leader in serving the Book of God Almighty and clarifying its meanings with disciplined scientific methods, and guiding and reforming society by consolidating faith in God Almighty and pride in the symbols and constants of the nation, while adhering to the standards of quality assurance and academic accreditation.<\/p>

        The mission of the Department of Interpretation is manifested in the task of preparing specialists in the interpretation of the Holy Qur\u2019an and its interpretation methodologies, to highlight the Islamic identity in thought and behavior, to consolidate authentic Islamic values \u200b\u200band morals, to keep pace with scientific and civilizational development, to raise the level of scientific research, to consolidate the practical Islamic educational approach to strengthen the bonds of society, and to work to support its religious, academic and educational institutions, within the general frameworks of quality assurance and specialized academic accreditation.<\/p>

        • Preparing researchers in Qur\u2019anic and interpretive studies to preserve Islamic heritage and highlight its features in a way that shows the bright face of Islam and Muslims, and to educate and guide people to Islam and its tolerant teachings.<\/li>
        • Encouraging innovation and creativity, keeping pace with technological development and modern teaching and education methods in accordance with the Islamic educational approach, and working hard to enter the various prestigious international academic rankings.<\/li>
