The mission of the Department of Prophetic Hadith is manifested in the task of activating the role of Prophetic Hadith and its various sciences so that it occupies its true place among the sciences as the second source of Islamic legislation, and working to prepare specialists in the sciences of Hadith and Prophetic Sunnah, to support religious, academic and educational institutions, and to consolidate the authentic Islamic values ​​and morals that are emphasized by the Prophetic Hadith and the purified Prophetic Sunnah.

تتركز أهداف قسم الحديث النبوي وعلومه لتحقيق رؤيته ورسالته فيما يأتي:

• Preparing a generation capable of carrying the Islamic message, armed with the noble Prophetic Hadith and its various sciences and the Prophetic Sunnah, and working to protect the Prophetic Hadith as the second source of Islamic legislation from distortion and falsification.
• Building a conscious generation of educators and teachers specializing in Prophetic Hadith and Sunnah to strengthen educational institutions in the Ministries of Education and Higher Education, and the Sunni and Shiite endowments, in order to show the bright face of Islam and Muslims.
• Preparing imams, preachers, orators, guides and missionaries who work in the fields of calling to God to educate people and guide them to Islam and its tolerant teachings.
• Working on social reform and solving various social problems through the Prophetic Hadith and Sunnah and their practical solutions in various situations.
• Practical scientific communication with institutions at the local, regional and international levels that are concerned with the Prophetic Hadith and the Prophetic Sunnah as the practical applied Islamic methodology.
• To explore the practical approaches included in the Prophetic Hadith and abundant in the Prophetic Sunnah to promote Islamic and social values ​​and virtues, and to benefit from them in combating extremism and fanaticism, and protecting society from various deviations.
