• Developing university-level Islamic education in a distinctive manner in the fields of Sharia sciences in accordance with the standards of specialized university academic accreditation and comprehensive quality.
• The Department seeks to prepare qualified specialists in Islamic sciences who are capable of teaching the Holy Qur’an and Islamic Education courses, serving in Sharia courts and fatwa institutions, and possessing the professional skills required to meet the evolving needs of the labor market.
• Instilling religious and social values ​​and virtues, and ideals to avoid wrong behaviors that harm the interests of society, by preparing a generation of teachers, preachers, orators and preachers who contribute to building society by spreading tolerance in it, fighting extremism, and protecting it from various deviations.
• To equip the learner with the legitimate scientific and educational research skills that keep pace with the requirements of the times in order to contribute to building the human being and preparing him to serve the Islamic community, with an effort stemming from respect for the Islamic cultural heritage, its unity and its eternal Islamic message.
• Preparing a teacher of the Holy Quran and Islamic Education, who is well-versed in its etiquette, performs his work efficiently, and is qualified to teach the Arabic language if the various schools require it.
