College of Islamic Sciences was established in 1989 as one of higher education institutions affiliated to Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Republic of Iraq. It is an extension of College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion, after it was merged to become a single college in month (February / 2014.The college was able to give encouragement to Scientific and cognitive development to raise its scientific levels and completing a lot of what it lacks of various factors and reasons for progress, and it continues to keep pace with scientific and educational development by updating its curricula and training its teaching and functional cadres.
